Sevier County Arrest Records
Sevier County arrest records are created at the time of arrest and booking by the arresting law enforcement agency. They are maintained by the Sevier County Sheriff's Office and local municipal police departments. These records are generally considered public records per Tenn. Code Ann 10-7-503; however, specific details may have restricted access. These include arrests that did not result in charges, arrests of juvenile suspects, expunged records, and records involving ongoing investigations where disclosure would compromise public safety. A typical public arrest record contains
- Full legal name of the arrested individual
- Date of birth
- Date, time, and location of the arrest
- Arresting agency
- Charges filed at the point of arrest
- Booking date & number
- Housing facility
- Bond or bail amount (where permissible)
- Next scheduled court date, if available
